Lewis Hamilton must leave Mclaren and head for Red Bull Racing if he wants to be a driver that goes down in history-as a great.
For Hamilton to join RBR one of the two drivers would have to exit the team and we all know that is not going to be Vettel. This leaves Mark Webber as the possible leaver from the team, before the Silverstone GP you would of said this is unlikely but after I'm not so sure.
I would say that Webber completely ignored the team orders issued to him over the radio and being a number 2 to Vettel is no longer ideal for the Australian, a move is on the cards.
If this was to come true, a vacant seat could be going spare for the 26yr. In my opinion RBR are one of the only teams that could afford Hamilton for a start and for further racing reasons Hamilton needs this too.
Hamilton needs to follow other greats from the sport including Prost, Senna, Schumacher and even Alonso to a Degree. All great driver only become great driver by winning. All these drivers have been in the right car at the right time, it's an extra sense the greats have, Hamilton needs to realise this to get himself into that Red Bull and take advantage of Adrian Newey! If he stays at Mclaren I cannot see him winning another championship any time soon (Although I'd love to see this happen) a decline seems to be happening at Mclaren. That is another story for another day.
Lewis could fade into the distance if he does not get into a more competitive drive and being in Red Bull would be his best shot, he would not get dominated by Vettel as he'd have the extra speed and aggressive driving style and could equal the balance, within the RBR team.
It is time for Hamilton to leave Mclaren and become a great.
